Rosbilt TinCan

rosbilt TinCan Banjo/Ukulele was formed as the ‘Iron Uke’ project in 2006 by Ross Stuart – the‘Ross’ in ‘rosbilt’ – to create a virtually indestructible and great sounding ukulele. The instrument became very popular and the business evolved.
The product line now includes mandolins, fiddles, banjo’s and six string guitars, all made from metal and mostly re-using tin cans as resonating chambers. All instruments are fully acoustic – some with an electric option; musician quality and are made to be played by people who like to play!
Originally started in the heart of downtown Toronto, the workshop is now located in the heart of beautiful Amherst Island, just outside Kingston.
